That's right, I started this project almost 8 months ago with the intention of wearing it during the waning summer / early fall months of 2017. Eight months later, here I am with a just-finished garment. But as the weather starts to get warmer in NY, it is almost ready-for-wear!
I have had my eye on this pattern from the Knit and Tonic blog for years because it seems like the perfect summer knit – lightweight with a simple, timeless fit.
It was ultimately a very easy knit to put together – the time it took to complete notwithstanding. Simple stockinette front and back pieces, and then adding the armhole and neck edging didn't take much effort.
I can't wait to debut this as the weather warms up!
